TREATMENT JOURNEY

After completing a 6-week round of proton radiation in February, Clyde faced an unexpected development in April when MRI scans revealed concerning spots in his brain. This led to additional surgery and a second diagnosis of brain cancer. Clyde now begins intensive treatments, including immunotherapy and radiation, battling two different strains of cancer.

FAMILY STRENGTH

Clyde's dad, Nate, is actively serving in the Air Force, stationed near Baltimore. Together with his mom, Shelley, they are dedicated to Clyde's care while also supporting his 9-year-old sister, Clover. The Hicks family is grateful for their local community's support, especially since their immediate family does not live nearby. They travel weekly to DC’s Children’s National Hospital for care.

INSPIRING SPIRIT

Despite everything, Clyde has remained positive, funny, and joyful, inspiring everyone around him.

JOIN THE FIGHT & PRAY

Clyde and the Hicks family are navigating this challenging journey with incredible courage. They continue to find joy in sports, Scouts, and time with loved ones. They would love your prayers during this time.
